What is the difference between lab grown and natural diamonds?
Natural diamonds are formed deep within the earth’s crust and are bought to the surface through a rare form of volcanic activity, and then mined.
Lab grown diamonds are man made to achieve the same physical, optical and chemical composition as natural diamonds. This is done using extreme heat and pressure, the diamonds are formed the same way as mother nature intended, just much quicker.
Visually, they are identical.
Are your diamonds certified?
Yes. All Mint Melbourne diamonds 0.5ct and above are certified.
Our natural diamonds come with a GIA certification and lab grown with either a GIA or IGI certification.
My Order
When will I get my ring?
Once ordered please allow approximately 6 weeks for your handcrafted piece to be dispatched.
Australian domestic orders are sent registered express via Australia Post. You will be contacted on dispatch of your order with a tracking number which you can check at www.auspost.com.au.
All international orders shipped outside of Australia are shipped using FedEx International Priority. Most shipments arrive within 2-5 business days, however the customs process in each country may vary and occasionally packages may be take longer to arrive.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes. All international orders shipped outside of Australia are shipped using FedEx International Priority. Mint Melbourne insures and registers all items for their full value. A signature upon delivery is required for all orders. Please ensure an adult is available at the business or home address supplied. International orders cannot be delivered to a PO Box.
What payment methods do you accept?
Mint Melbourne accepts all major credit cards, including American Express and PayPal.
What currency are your prices displayed in?
All prices shown on the Mint Melbourne website are in Australian Dollars (AUD). All payments will be processed in AUD. If purchasing from outside of Australia the amount billed to your card at checkout may vary depending on conversion rates in your country.
Care
How do I care for my ring?
Our rings are crafted to the highest possible quality. That being said, your Mint Melbourne ring will naturally collect dirt as you live and enjoy life.
Ideally, for all rings, excluding those set with emeralds, we recommend you clean your ring using an ultrasonic bath. Alternatively, use a soft toothbrush and hot soapy water. Afterwards be sure to rinse your ring thoroughly to avoid skin irritation.

Do you offer resizing?
Our engagement rings include one complimentary resize, valid for 2 months from the date the customer receives their ring.
Our wedding bands/stackables do not include a complimentary resize.
Am I able to visit your studio?
Sure can! Come and see us at 3 Olinda Monbulk Rd Olinda. Open weekends from 10am - 4pm and by appointment.
